EX= Sum of entire list
EX2= Sum squared
Sx= Standard deviation of the sample
ax= Standard deviation of the population
Population standard deviation measures how varied the data is, relative to itself. (How spread out the numbers are)
i.e. - data set with no "spread"

-> std. dev. close to 0
i.e. data set with much variation
->std. dev. is high
